Local email updates
We collect your email, ZIP code, bakery selection, signup source, and the exact permission wording and time. We use them to confirm your email, send the local news and offers you choose, honor opt-outs, and measure our marketing. Email updates are limited to four per month for your selected bakery. This is separate from national Bundtastic Rewards. Signing up is optional and is not required to purchase.
Text messages
Email permission does not authorize texts. The standalone text-signup page has its own mobile-number field and optional marketing choice. Submitting it saves a pending request, the disclosure, source and timestamp; it does not grant verified recurring-text enrollment. Final recurring-text enrollment requires the customer to separately text CAKE to (432) 777-2253 and then reply Y to the disclosure message. This choice authorizes marketing texts only: promotional bakery offers, product promotions and seasonal promotions. It does not authorize order, account, customer-service or other informational text messages. Up to six messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
We collect the mobile number, keyword, signup source, consent language, consent date and time, message history, and opt-out status. We use this information to confirm enrollment, send the requested messages, answer requests, maintain consent records, and honor opt-outs.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, text-message consent, or personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers may process this information solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
Access and service providers
Database administration is restricted to the business owner. Supabase stores signup and consent records, Sites hosts this website, Resend delivers email and handles email delivery and opt-out events, and Twilio handles text requests, text-consent and opt-out records, and text-message delivery. Recurring marketing enrollment requires your separate marketing request, CAKE and affirmative Y confirmation. Partners do not receive subscriber records for their own marketing.
Retention and requests
Email confirmation links expire after 48 hours. We retain subscriber information while needed for the updates you choose and review inactive or unconfirmed records. Minimal consent and suppression records may remain to honor your choices.
Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop local email marketing. Reply STOP to end recurring texts. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help unsubscribing.
